About Us

Herbert “Herb” Bellamy, Jr, is a life-long resident of the City of Buffalo. Currently Herb serves for the past (25) years as the Chairman of the Board for the Buffalo Sewer Authority. In addition he is the CEO of Buffalo’s Black Achievers, Inc., For the past (48) years the Black Achievers Board of Directors recognizes individuals of the community who demonstrates a contributing quality of life for the African American community. Please note: for the past (48) years, over 2,000 recipients have received a Black Achievers Award.

Bellamy Enterprises, LLC strength, in part, stems from our expertise and past experiences, with a foundation to deliver 

“high quality experience development, planning & execution of projects.”  It is this attitude and dedication that has produced positive bottom line results and forge lasting relationships with our clients.

Our company is about more than just “bricks & mortar”. We are committed to providing high quality project management.  We believe a development’s success is built upon developing a partnership with our client and their consultants, in order to successfully maintain project milestones, honor completion timeframes and accomplish all our client’s goals.

Throughout our 30+ year history, Bellamy Enterprises, LLC has assisted to build “bridges” between developers and the community in which is being transformed. The overreaching goal is to improve the environment where the community lives.

Another positive way that Herb is transforming portions of the East Side of Buffalo is through serving as a developer, Must notable Herb has completed the following:

  • 1490 Jefferson “ Bellamy Commons”-  selective demolition and new construction of a former 66,000 sq. ft. building. into (30) residential units and the Black Achievers Museum.
  • 1490 Estates– the complex was constructed into (60) senior housing units
